In Memoriam

Abhishek Narayan Kumar

(1986 – 2011)

ConnectUS fondly remembers Abhishek, who wrote stories for the ConnectUS Story Project from his home in India.  Sadly, Abhishek passed away this past April.  His creative and entertaining stories for the Story Project included “Abhishek the Great,” “Harry the Monster,” and “Autobiography of an Umbrella.”  Copies of his stories and the accompanying puppets will be travelling to Pazepas, Haiti this fall to be enjoyed by the children there.

Sarah Herman, who is engaged to marry Abhishek’s brother, will be running the Chicago marathon in Abhishek’s memory on Sunday, October 9.  Please consider supporting Sarah by making a donation to ConnectUS in Abhishek’s memory.
