Ever wonder what to do with the wine corks rolling around your kitchen drawers or decorating your counters?  Please don’t throw them away!  ConnectUS can use all your wine corks – real or synthetic – for a variety of purposes.
 
ConnectUS uses all types of wine corks in the assembly of its adapted equipment, for projects like Baking Bonanza and Seeds and Scents.  Through these projects, your excess corks can bring meaningful activities to the lives of our members, while helping our members give back to their community.  Please take a look at our web site for more information on these projects.
 
ConnectUS is also part of the TerraCycle recycling program.  TerraCycle diverts billions of items that would otherwise end up in landfills or incinerators, and either upcycles or recycles the waste into new products, reducing the need for new materials to be extracted from our planet.  All corks that are not used in ConnectUS projects will be turned in to TerraCycle for credit, and will be converted into funds for other ConnectUS projects.
 
Collected corks may be dropped off at any ConnectUS event, or given to any member of our Board of Directors.  To mail corks, please package them securely and send to:
